The wavy bar represents the two rivers that are important to Mr. Ghosh: the Ganges in India and the St. Lawrence in Canada. The Bengal tiger evokes Mr. Ghosh’s Bengali heritage. The dolphin is a link between the two countries because dolphins, of different species, inhabit the two rivers. |
