Symbolism

Blue and white are the colours of the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals. The blue peak evokes Mount Royal in Montréal, while the sun is taken from the arms of Westmount, where the regiment is located. The four rays allude to the No. 4 Signal Company, the first signal unit in Montréal and predecessor of the regiment. Mercury, the messenger of the gods, represents the role of the unit.
