The gold colour and the cartwheel recall its agricultural vocation. The cross represents the seminary located in the municipality. Its wavy shape alludes to the nearby Fortin Lake. |

The wheat sheaf reinforces the agriculture symbolism, while the maple leaf reflects the municipality’s location in Canada. |
