The bell was sounded for emergencies, reveille, muster parades and hourly at the Trenton Air Cadet Summer Training Centre. The compass rose is a feature of the badges of both 8 Wing and Canadian Force Base Trenton, of which the training centre is a lodger unit. It further represents the direction that cadet training provides to the cadets as they navigate their way through the transition to adulthood. The wings refer to the eagle that is found on the Air Cadet badge. The waves are taken from the coat of arms of the City of Quinte West and the badge of 8 Wing. |
