Arms of Normand BironBlazonAzure three bends Argent an ermine spot Sable in the dexter chief; SymbolismThe three silver bends are based on the arms of Lord Byron. The blue of the field is the colour of choice of Mr. Biron. The ermine spot recalls his ancestor, Pierre Biron, son of Jean Biron and Marie Razé, who settled at Quebec in 1648. Pierre was born in 1627 at Saint-Hermine in the Vendée region of Poitou. |

The sea lion also designates his charitable work as administrator of the Quebec Branch of the Last Post Fund, of Canada’s National Field of Honour and of the Naval Officers’ Association of Canada.
