Badge of the Eastern Region Gliding School

Blazon

Azure in base a glider Or embellished Azure, in chief a compass rose between three mullets of eight points Argent;

Symbolism

The yellow glider with blue stripes is characteristic of the Eastern Region Gliding School (ERGS). The blue background represents the sky. The compass rose recalls the badge of the Regional Cadet Support Unit (Eastern), with which the ERGS has ties. The stars allude to the heights mentioned in the Motto while their number refers to the three programs off the ERGS: the Glider Pilot Scholarship, the Power Pilot Scholarship, and Advanced Aerospace.
