Symbolism

The falcon relates to a personality trait of one who does not rest until the objective is achieved. The white rose and white dogwood flower symbolize the two respective domiciles.

Symbolism

The beaver represents service to Canada. It is also the symbol of the London School of Economics and Political Science where Mr. Fryer was associate editor of the student newspaper, The Beaver. The School’s motto, Rerum cognoscere causas (meaning “To know the causes of things”), is important to Mr. Fryer.
