Blazon

Gules a fess chequy Azure and Argent, in chief a mullet between two maple leaves, in base three maple leaves Argent above barry wavy Argent and Azure;

Symbolism

The design for Ms. Lindsay is based on the general pattern of Scottish Lindsay arms, a red shield with a blue and white chequy fess. The wavy base recognizes that the family crossed the waters to reside in Canada. The white star alludes to the descent through a particular line of Lindsays, and the maple leaves indicate the five generations of the family in Canada.
