Blazon

Barry wavy Argent and Azure a bull’s head affronty Sable langued Gules armed and anneled Argent crowned with a ducal coronet Gules;

Symbolism

The central device is taken from the coat of arms of the father of Queen Charlotte (wife of King George III), the Duke of Mecklenburg. HMCS Queen Charlotte was named after a Provincial Marine Corvette of the same name built at Amherstburg in 1809 for service on Lake Erie.
