Argent on a saltire couped Azure a plate fimbriated Or charged with four bars wavy Azure surmounted by a maple leaf Gules;

Symbolism

The blue cross of St. Andrew, found in the Arms and Flag of Nova Scotia, evokes the name Scotian. The red maple leaf, charged on a roundel representing water, symbolizes that this is a Canadian ship.
