Blazon

Vert a maple tree Or eradicated Argent;

Symbolism

The arms were created by the late Father Julien Déziel in 1943. The colour green was chosen because it is associated with life and spring, therefore with renewal and hope, values that are important to the Société. The tree is the most recognizable genealogical symbol, and the maple tree was chosen to identify the Society as French-Canadian.
