Upon a base of two bars crested Argent and Azure a grassy mound growing thereon an Eastern white pine tree (Pinus strobus) proper;

Symbolism

The base represents the lakes and landscapes of Northern Ontario. The white pine is also typical of this area.

This Latin phrase means "Uphold the Northern Region".
