Arms of Mark Anthony Group Inc.BlazonAzure a fess chequy Argent and Gules between in chief a coronet erablé Argent gemmed Gules and in base a pelican displayed Argent; SymbolismThis shield is based directly on the ancestral arms of the Estate’s founder, Anthony von Mandl, which were granted in 1807 by Emperor Francis I of Austria. In this new shield, the pelican is changed from gold to white. Furthermore, the fess has been changed from red and gold to white and red, and the coronet to a coronet of maple leaves, symbolizing both the country of Mr. von Mandl’s birth and achievements. Red and white are the national colours of both Canada and Austria. |
