Per chevron Gules and Azure, a chevron Argent between in chief a key and in base a beaver couchant on a log all within a bordure Or;

Symbolism

The design is based on the emblem used by the City of London, including the colours and the beaver, which symbolizes industriousness. The key, modelled here on a cell block key, is indicative of London Police’s central role in maintaining the security of the city, as well as the trust between citizens and their police force. The border further emphasizes the Service’s role in security.

The tower emphasises the idea of security for the municipality, and the flag connects it to the police service.

Symbolism

The deer and bear are the supporters of the unofficial arms of the City of London, differenced here by the use of the colour gold and the addition of “crowns vallary”, which are associated with policing. The maple leaves, trilliums and peonies are the national, provincial, and municipal floral emblems.

Symbolism

This follows the pattern of municipal police badges in Canada, with the Royal Crown indicating that the Police serve the Crown’s justice and the upholding of the constitution and the rule of law. The maple leaves and the trillium flower locate the police service in Canada and Ontario.
