Arms of Grace Church-on-the-Hill

Blazon

Gules a chevron Or between in chief a dove rising Argent between two maple leaves slipped Or and in base an open book proper bound Or edged Vert;

Symbolism

Red is the colour associated with the Holy Spirit. The chevron symbolizes Forest Hill, the “Hill” in the church’s name. The dove is a symbol of God’s grace and thus alludes to the name of the church. The maple leaves indicate the church’s Canadian identity. The book represents Holy Scripture.
