Nancy Lachapelle has been a dedicated volunteer within the military community since 2001. She began by volunteering with the Military Family Resource Centre Montreal Region, where she organized family activities and events and maintained a bilingual support group and a recreation club. She then continued her volunteer work with the Valcartier Family Centre, where she keeps the tourism display up-to-date, informing military families about activities in the region so that they can plan family vacations. For the past year, she has been part of the Volunteer Action Committee, which recognizes and promotes the work of volunteers.
