A volunteer with the Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry cadets, Charles Bernatchez created a method for instructors to track their progress through the training program, served as a marksmanship coach and trained cadets to the national level. He also created a cadet clothing store where 15% of the profits are given to the Parents' Association.
