Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
For the past twenty-five years, Mychèle Amberg has been volunteering where she lived in Canada and abroad. She has been active in her church and school organizations and has, since 1987, been a volunteer at the veterans' hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue where she finds time almost every day to visit veterans and to provide humanitarian care to the chronically ill.
