For 25 years Eileen Wiese has supported the Scouts movement as a camp coordinator, Cub leader, banquet chair and newsletter editor. She has been a Sunday school teacher and has given her time to many church activities for over 30 years. For the past 15 years, she has also addressed and counselled many children on the effects of drugs and alcohol. She has volunteered with the Duggan Community League since 1976 and its Neighbourhood Watch and Block Parent programs She canvasses for charitable funding drives, regularly helps elderly or sick neighbours and has been known to procure coats and boots for those who have none. Keenly aware of the plight of others, she is always quick to provide assistance where it is needed.
