    For over 30 years, Michèle Rouleau has been defending the rights of Aboriginal people and particularly the rights of women. Among other things, she has served as president of the Quebec Native Women's Association and has been actively involved in supporting claims for the right to equality. Notably, she spoke out and led the first awareness campaign against family violence in Aboriginal communities in Quebec. Today, as a consultant and president of Wabanok Productions, she continues to raise awareness about the realities and contributions of First Nations.
