She is the co-founder of a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting and supporting families searching for missing children. She conceived the idea of joining forces with other similar organizations throughout the world. The Missing Children's Network Canada has returned almost a hundred and fifty children to their families. Her experience has led her to develop an innovative police training program to assist officers in dealing with international child abduction and she is also involved in a prevention program to teach children how to avoid becoming victims of sexual aggression. She has dedicated her life as a spokesperson for children and parents who cannot speak for themselves.
