His concern for marginalized youth, particularly runaways, led him to serve as director at Evergreen, the Yonge Street Mission's centre for street youth in Toronto. Now a minister of youth and community outreach, through his caring and understanding he has helped many young people become productive and independent. As a dynamic speaker, he has raised society's awareness of the problems of poverty, injustice and neglect.
