Long-time Ontario March of Dimes Regional Director for Southwestern Ontario, she went far beyond the call of duty to initiate a wide variety of improvements in the treatments and programmes available to the area's physically disabled. Now retired from this position and further work with the Cheshire Homes Group, she is continuing her efforts on behalf of the disabled as a full-time volunteer with a number of organizations.
