For many years she has been the teacher and loyal friend of disabled children and adults in the Toronto area. In 1949 she founded St. Paul's School for the Cerebral Palsied, and her efforts resulted in the building of the Ontario Crippled Children's Centre School in 1962. She is presently involved in such projects as Participation House at Markham, the first such residence on this continent for handicapped men and women.
