One of the early promoters of human rights in Canada, he has dedicated his life to enhancing human dignity and fighting for equality. From his days as a shop steward to his more recent role in restructuring the National Black Coalition of Canada, he has worked diligently for constructive change and been an outspoken labour and civil rights activist.
