Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, delivered the keynote address at a conference entitled Northern Nationalisms, Arctic Mythologies, and the Weight of History, on October 22, 2022.
Organized by Trent University, the conference was held in honour of eminent Arctic historian and former Trent U professor Dr. Shelagh Grant.
