Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary May Simon, Governor General of Canada presided over a swearing-in ceremony at Rideau Hall.

Presiding a swearing-in ceremony of new federal ministers is one of Her Excellency's constitutional roles as Governor General.

The ceremony took place in the Ballroom while following all public health guidelines related to COVID-19.

The swearing-in ceremony was followed by an official photo of the Governor General with the Canadian ministry.
