Everyone knows someone who is passionate about fostering change, and we would like to help you celebrate this outstanding person.
Why not nominate someone today? Anyone can do it, and there is no deadline for submissions.
- Think of an eligible candidate and tell us why they should receive one of the Meritorious Service Decorations (Civil Division). Be sure to outline the specific deed the candidate has done, for how long and the impact of their work on the community.
- Gather your candidate’s contact information to support your nomination.
- Gather the names and contact information of three references who can speak to the candidate’s achievements.
You are now ready to submit your nomination.
Ensuring Confidentiality
Please do not notify the candidate about the nomination or initiate a letter-writing campaign. This avoids disappointment if the nomination is not successful. The Chancellery of Honours will keep nominations confidential. As part of this commitment, the Chancellery will respond to inquiries about the status of a nomination only to the nominator identified on the nomination form.
