From July 2018 to February 2019, Chief Warrant Officer Morneau served as sergeant major of Task Force Middle East in Jordan. An extremely experienced soldier, he helped the Jordanian Armed Forces train their non-commissioned officers, identify operational needs and find solutions adapted to local culture and customs. A remarkable mentor, he ensured that the members of the Task Force could evolve and operate under optimal conditions. His sense of accomplishment and hard work contributed to the success of the mission and allowed the Task Force to shine in Jordan and Lebanon, demonstrating the impact of Canada’s presence in the region.
