New for Canada’s 150th birthday, lace up your skates in the refurbished Winter Pavilion and skate on Rideau Hall’s historic outdoor rink, now refrigerated.
Visit the ceremonial rooms where the governor general fulfils official duties, welcomes dignitaries and honours Canadians.
Make it a giving moment by bringing non-perishable food items for the Ottawa Food Bank and Moisson Outaouais or winter clothing for the Snowsuit Fund.
You are encouraged to post your photos of the day’s activities to social media by using the hashtag #RHPhoto.
