At the request of the Right Honourable Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston will conduct a working visit to the United Mexican States, from November 30 to December 2; an official visit to Peru, from December 2 to 5; and a State visit to Guatemala, from December 5 to 7, 2012

Their Excellencies will visit the Center for Innovation in Advanced Manufacturing (CIMA) at Tec de Monterrey. CIMA fosters collaboration between academia and industry to encourage innovation and technological development towards an entrepreneurial culture for solving problems, and to create value in the automotive and aerospace sectors. Round-table Discussion on the Role of Law Faculties and Legal Education in Preparing for a New Justice Paradigm
Upon his arrival, the Governor General will take a short tour of Anáhuac University, during which he will see the law school’s mock courtroom. His Excellency will then deliver remarks prior to a round-table discussion on “The Role of Law Faculties and Legal Education in Preparing for a New Justice Paradigm.”

Visit to Bombardier Aerospace Facilities
Accompanied by Mr. Laurent Beaudoin, Chairman of the Board of Bombardier, the Governor General will visit Bombardier Aerospace installations in the Querétaro Aerospace Park. The Querétaro manufacturing facility is responsible for the fabrication of the Learjet 85 aircraft’s major composite structures, including fuselage lay-up and sub-system installation; wiring harness fabrication and installation; wing assembly; and horizontal and vertical stabilizer assemblies. Their Excellencies will represent Canada at the first official speech delivered by His Excellency Enrique Peña Nieto, the new president of the United Mexican States.
